The artistic world derives from the artist’s physical and imaginative personal experiences as well as social systems and behavioral codes with respect to the turtle existence in the ecosystem. Sea turtles are majestic and have evolved more than 100 million years ago. They have amazing life voyages and are wide-ranging peaceful navigators of the global ocean. Living in social groups they receive protection against predators through strength in numbers. And also has several other benefits to the respective members, and one of them is that the offspring stand a better chance at survival due to communal efforts in their upbringing. Turtles are also the bellwether of how the human relationship with the ocean is playing out around the globe and that we as humans need to do more and better to protect our environment.
